The Punjab State Twenty 20 Cricket AssociationCode recognises and accepts that No Advance Notice Out-of-Competition Testing is at the core of effective Doping Control, and without accurate information as to a players whereabouts, such testing can be inefficient and often impossible. With that in mind, in August 2010, the Punjab State Twenty 20 Cricket Associationhas established two pools of players.

  • International Registered Testing Pool (IRTP)
  • National Player Pool (NPP). Players in these pools are required to submit whereaboutsinformation. Further details about the Punjab State Twenty 20 Cricket Associationwhereabouts programme can be found on the whereabouts page of the website.

Players may have illnesses or injuries from time to time, which require them to use particular substance(s) or method(s). If the substance(s) or method(s) a Player is required to take to treat an illness or injury happens to be on the WADA Prohibited List, the player will be required to apply for an exemption- this is called a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE).

Punjab State Twenty 20 Cricket Associationregularly stresses the importance of TUEs when players receive medical treatment. The Therapeutic Use Exemption Committee (TUEC) evaluates all applications for TUEs received by Punjab State Twenty 20 Cricket Association.
